Though the beginnings of the Ravenclaw Bronze and Blue Olympics are shrouded in mystery, one thing remains true - BBO is an activity that brings people together, making friends and boosting spirit in this Roost we call home.
Unlike many other monthly events that take place in Ravenclaw, the Bronze and Blue Olympics focus more on teamwork than individual successes. Whether the team is charged with creating a new Olympic sport (2010) or designing a deity to represent each team member (2011), the focus is on the team as a whole. And though we don't know when it started, we know that it's been an enormous success!

A first-year eagle may have heard some "RPM" remarks around the Roost, their Nest or even on IRC. Quips like "I can't wait until RPM!", "Is it March yet?", and "Move over, Valentine's Day! We want RPM and we want it NOW!" have all been overheard just this year by this staff writer!
A new Ravenclaw is often puzzled by the abbreviation; "What, do tell, is this RPM? Why is it so awesome?" Well, my fine feathered friends; Ravenclaw Pride Month (RPM) is the month that takes the Roost by storm. Each March the appointed prefects come up with a crazy, fun and eagle-oriented activity that encompasses the entire month. The festivities end with a school-wide award ceremony that recognizes brave, silly, and scary eagles as well as members of other houses.

It was in the summer of 2006 when a Ravenclaw prefect named Aphelia Starr had the idea to create an event that would occur over the summer and not during the school year. It is a known fact that the summer is the death period for Hogwarts and in order to bring in some fun during it, a Ravenclaw Summer Camp had been born.
Given the fact that Aphelia’s idea was an enormous success and guaranteed something to do during the summer, our fabulous staff decided to keep it and that was a very smart move. Ravenclaw Summer Camp is now going to run for the 6th year and we all wonder... where our staff will take us next?
