Memories - Roleplay
I love role-playing primarily because I love to write, and role-playing allows the writing to happen with the collective imagination of a group of people all working together with the aim of telling great stories. I enjoy the chance to create a plotline, to sew the seeds early on in a role-play with a few subtle words that pass unnoticed, and that build throughout the narrative until finally all becomes clear and the story comes to a climax that makes perfect sense... and I love it when other players do the same thing and I find myself surprised and awestruck at some twist or dramatic revelation and think 'oh that was so obvious... in hindsight!' because it had been so beautifully prepared. I love it when people fall in love with a setting so much that they decide to create threads to play out the lives and drama of minor characters, or odd corners of the world, away from the main action. I love it when the cast of characters grows in that way until without realising it a whole world is being played out, and the pasts and futures of the characters are being demanded as material for new role-play ideas. I love it because it is not solitary, because the players all support and encourage each other to make the world of the role-play as interesting, involving, and rich as it can be, and it goes beyond the imagination of a single person. I love it because it involves the player in the dramas of other lives, the hopes and disappointments, the loves and hatreds, the moments of quiet contemplation and of frenetic activity. At its best it is like a novel, a talkie, a play, but growing before your eyes and involving each person directly in its growth. What's not to love?

I love RPG, with all the drama twists and turns, I love being dramatic and I love all the interesting threads that go on! It is also a great way to make friends and meet new people!

Wow, what do I love most about RPG? I love how in RPG I can play a character who can be me, without the flaws I hate in myself. I'm not suggesting that my characters are flawless, but they are strong in the ways I wish I was, and their flaws are the sort that I don't mind. I also love how I can take one aspect of myself, and create a whole new character, who isn't me, but who I would be friends with if they existed in the real world. For example, Ally, my character in "Dangerous Games" loves adventure, things like kayaking, hiking, and spying on people for a laugh. In the real world, I love adventure, but I'm often too afraid to go for it. She's not. And Hayley from "Life of Magic", she is the character most like me, but she has strength of spirit that I envy. The thing that makes RPG special to me, more than anything else about it does, is that I know I can have a modicum of control over the life of my character. I can let them live in a world that I can help design, which is really wonderful.

RPG is special for me because it's like a whole big family! I love everyone who's in it and they're all so nice. RPG is like actually being at Hogwarts (or the closest we can get)!

What makes RPG special to me is that we are all like one big family. What happens every day in RPG? Well, a lot of us like to be very dramatic, so a day in RPG usually contains a little bit of everything! For example, we have deaths, relationships, anger, yelling, a lot of tears, secrets, friendships and lots more! And that’s only in one day! Sometimes we are a tiny bit sneaky and plan exciting things to happen using PMs but most of the time, it’s sudden and surprising! But either way it is amazingly fun, whichever path the story takes, and trust me we usually have a lot of drastic changes and twists and turns in our stories! Please join! Hope you enjoyed reading about the amazing RPG and hope you come along and take a look!

RPG is very special for me and not only one piece but all. With it you can explore new worlds and possibilities. You can play anyone, villain, or an ally. It is a form of fun and sometimes relaxation.
