Ravenclaw Activities

So besides earning lots of points, botting until our fingers fall off, and fangirling over all sorts of things, you would think Ravenclaws can stay occupied. Well, some of you might be shocked to find that we have a short attention span. So what else would we need? Ravenclaw Activities, of course!
But what is Ravenclaw Activities anyways? It’s a wonderful section in the Roost that was brought about to not only give active Ravenclaws monthly activities to do, but to bring in more inactive students to motivate them to earn points and keep them around HOL. (And eventually win the House Cup again or perhaps brainwash them into quidditch.) This section was officially made a section in 2010. There have already many activities that have been run through the program and have been huge successes! The events are brought to the students by the wonderful prefects and reserves, not to mention some everyday students have been known to run a great activity too. These events are huge hits amongst the crowds of students that sign-up to participate. I asked one Ravenclaw student what their favorite thing about the section is and they answered, “It’s a great way to get to know a lot of people, and the activities are always fun!”
So what sort of monthly games are held in this section that causes students love this section so much? Well, lots of different games and activities have been played in the section, such as Clue, Boggle, and Trivial Pursuit. Other activities have been held too, such as Secret Santa. No matter what activity is being held, Ravenclaws from all over the world flock together to play fun games, and exciting activities. The Ravenclaw Activities section has really brought eagles together and made them active once again, making the Ravenclaw House even better than ever!
